COVID 19 UPDATE: 29/08/2020
LATEST: The Forest Park building, activities and Monas Café are opened for business. Appropriate measures have been put in place including social distancing, signage and hand sanitizers throughout the building.
We are delighted to announce that Adventure Birthday Party bookings are now available at Colin Glen.

Forest Park
Gruffalo Guided Walks, SKYTrek, Archery, Lasertag and birthday parties are now open for bookings. Our experienced team have put in place several adjustments to ensure our customer and staff safety. These adjustments are outlined below:
Gruffalo Guided Walks
- In addition to the facilitator, the maximum number per group is 25, inclusive of children and adults.
- The facilitator will greet parents and children at building and escort to the education room for the short story before commencing in the walk.
- Social distancing measures are in place and should be adhered to throughout the activity, families are reminded to stay in their ‘bubbles’.
- Customers are required to use hand sanitiser units provided before and after activity.
- Toilet facilities are available to customers.
SKYTrek ;
- In addition to instructors, a maximum of 30 will be permitted in the Skytrek area, split into groups.
- Instructors will greet customers at building and escort to the Skytrek area.
- Social distancing measures are in place and should be adhered to throughout the activity.
- The activity brief and kitting up will be conducted outside.
- Depending on numbers, instructors will divide customers across activity areas.
- All kit; lanyards, helmets, harnesses and ropes will be quarantined prior to use for 72h and steam sanitised after use.
- Customers are encouraged to use hand sanitiser units provided before and after activity.
- Toilet facilities are available to customers.
- Customers will be required to wear disposable gloves provided, face masks are at the customer’s discretion.
- Disposable gloves should be disposed of correctly in the bins provided.
Archery;
- In addition to the instructor, a maximum of 12 will be permitted in the Archery area, split into groups.
- Instructors will greet customers at building and escort to the archery area.
- All activity brief will be conducted outside.
- Social distancing measures are in place and should be adhered to throughout the activity.
- Customers are encouraged to use hand sanitiser units provided before and after activity.
- Toilet facilities will be available to customers.
- Customers will be required to wear disposable gloves provided, face masks are at the customer’s discretion.
- Bows and arrows will be sanitised after each activity session.
- Disposable gloves should be disposed of correctly in the bins provided.
Laser tag update;
- In addition to the instructor, a maximum of 16 will be permitted in the laser tag area, split into groups.
- Instructors will greet customers at building and escort to the Laser Tag area.
- The activity brief and kitting up will be conducted outside.
- Social distancing measures are in place and should be adhered to throughout the activity.
- Customers are encouraged to use hand sanitiser units provided before and after activity.
- Toilet facilities will be available to customers.
- Customers will be required to wear disposable gloves provided, face masks are at the customer’s discretion.
- Laser Tag guns and all other equipment provided will be sanitised after each activity session
- Disposable gloves should be disposed of correctly in the bins provided
Birthday Parties:
We are offering birthday parties in the activities outlined above with the same adjustments in place. With the birthday parties we will also be supplying food from Browns Fish and Chip Shop, with each child being given their own individual meal box.

Leisure
Outdoor Pitches
Pitches are now available to book, our experienced team have ensured that appropriate adjustments are in place and will be managed in line with guidance from the IFA published on 8 June 2020 which has been informed by NI Executive. The adjustments include:
- Pitches must be booked online at www.colinglen.org
- Players and coaches must remain in their car until the pitch area is clear.
- A member of staff will sanitise the goal posts between bookings.
- Teams/players must supply their own equipment.
- Only players and coaches are permitted to enter the playing area.
- Players and coaches must use the sanitiser provided before entering the playing area.
- Parents/viewers must not enter the playing area or pitch corridor.
- Strictly no congregating pre/post-training session.
- Players and coaches must vacate the pitch immediately after use.
- Toilets are available at reception.
Golf Course and Driving Range:
Our experienced team has ensured that the necessary adjustments are in place in line with the updated GUI protocol (phase 2) published on 4th June 2020, these include:
- The golf course is open to members and visitors.
- All tee times must be booked online. Booking links here; Tee time booking
- 4 balls are now permitted on the golf course.
- Driving range bays MUST be pre-booked online. Booking Links here; Driving Range bay booking (open to all).
- We will only be accommodating two people per driving range bay.
- Where possible please utilise the cashless option when paying.
- Social distancing measures have been installed to ensure the safety of our staff and customers.
- Hand sanitising dispensers have been installed in our 15 driving range bays and in all public areas.
